  1. Day 1Bonjour!

Kick off the day by meeting at the Chambery train station at and then heading to the first hotel in the beautiful town of Aix les Bains.

With an experienced team your bikes will be assembled or fitted if rentals were requested. And then it is time for drinks and dinner. The guide will give each rider a welcome gift and go through a rundown of the fun and action that lies in wait on the tour.

  2. Day 2Cycling towards Le Grand-Bornand

The day will be started with a ride up Semnoz, a Tour de France highlight in 2013. You will surely test your legs on the climbs but you will be rewarded afterwards with a pleasant ride along Lake Annecy.

Having completed this you will then be able to watch the race in the comfort of the Izoard VIP area which overlooks the course. Drinks and food will be served as you watch the live broadcast of the race on the big screen TV. This is a great way to watch the race until the pros pass through on their way to the finish line.

  3. Day 3More scenic climbs

Leaving Albertville, you will tackle more scenic climbs on the way to the next VIP viewing location. An elevation of about 2,000 meters (6,600 feet) will be gained as you pass through Col de l’Epine and Col de la Croix Fry.

After the ride, enjoy yourself at the Relais Etape. It is a premium hospitality tent set up along the course where you can enjoy watching the tour along with fellow enthusiasts. This is a one-of-a-kind experience with live broadcast of the race, unlimited buffet, a Tour de France gift and champagne to celebrate the day’s action.

With all the excitement finished, the group will be driven to the hotel in Alpe d’Huez. Spend some time with the group over dinner and then prepare for the following day.

  4. Day 4A podium finish and barbecue dinner

Now it’s time for a whole other cycling memory – crossing the stage finish line at Alpe d’Huez. After riding the well-renowned 21 switchbacks, riders will meet up a few kilometers from the finish so everyone can cross the line together.

Since the hotel is nearby, you will have ample time to clean up before walking a few kilometers to a private chalet. With beer or soft drinks in hand, you can watch the race live on TV while the barbecue dinner is being prepared. Soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy the rest of the evening.

  5. Day 5Behind the ropes

The day starts at Bourg d’Oisans. Use your VIP access again to check out the sponsor area, grab some food and drink coffee. Being the team bus area, this is your best chance to see riders and perhaps get a selfie with them!

After a light lunch, the group will ride through the valley and back up Alpe d’Huez by passing through Col de Sarenne. It’s a 55km (55,000 meters) ride with an elevation gain of approximately 2,500 meters (8,202 ft).

In the evening, it’ll be a bittersweet occasion as you celebrate all that you’ve accomplished on the tour and at the same time bid adieu to your new friends during the farewell dinner.

  6. Day 6Au revoir!

There will be a transfer to Grenoble train station in the morning. This station provides excellent train service to Paris.

At this point it is au revoir until next year.
