Below are the options you can pick to go cycling around the Kathmandu valley.

1. Mudkhu-Jhor-Tokha Cycle Trail (4 hrs)

Even the beginners will enjoy a ride on this trail. The biking trail includes the Trishuli Highway and takes them to paddy fields, thin villages, tea - shops, waterfall, and forest. These villages belonging to Newar people also have restaurants that sell delicious cuisines.

2. Kathmandu – Kakani – Budhanilkantha Biking Trail ( 6 hrs)

This is for the person who loves to ride on a challenging trail. Challenging biking is followed by rewarding views. The mountain views are fantastic. There are few shops that sell food so be sure to carry snacks in your bag as you cycle the remote valley.

3. Budhanilkantha-Kapan Biking Trail (6 hrs)

This is a technical trail option. The biking trail ascends as it heads to the Shivapuri National Park. From Kapan, you will have a panoramic view of the Valley of Kathmandu. Kapan is also famous for its monastery.

4. Jamacho Biking Trail ( 6 hrs)

At 21 km (13 mi) long, Jamacho Biking Trail takes you to the Nagarjun Hill in the Shivapuri National Park. The hill is a viewpoint, and the park has different species of flora. When it comes to one day Kathmandu biking, this is a great option.
