Few countries in the world are as diverse as Myanmar (formerly Burma) both in its landscapes, culture and people. This Southeast Asian gem’s popularity is growing among tourists year-on-year, but by traveling this fascinating land on bike you have a golden opportunity to view this sensational country in a truly unique way.

Supported by local and experienced guides, who will consistently give you fascinating insights and extra information on Myanmar, this ride truly kicks off in the colonial-era town of Kalaw. Leaving this hilltop town you'll head past flowing countryside for Lake Inle. This 13.5mile freshwater lake is truly captivating and will have you wide eyed in wonder as you observe the Intha fishermen in action. Naturally, you'll want you to relish every second here so embarking on a boat trip will give you the opportunity to do just that.

While back on the bikes you will witness first-hand the warmth of the Burmese people as they encourage you from the roadside as you head towards yet more fascinating sights such as the Pindaya caves – home to thousands of Buddha statues.

Cycle through Myanmar with the energy of the place spurring you on, nowhere is it more evident than the former Royal capital city of Mandalay. This sprawling metropolis holds so many secrets and that is why you'll spend three days cycling through its surroundings.

Having lapped up the city life you'll ride ride towards Mt. Popa and fit in a hike to the nearby Popa Taung Kalat temple for incredible views, before heading for the famous ancient city of Bagan – a must stop for anyone in Myanmar. This incredible archaeological site easily rivals Angkor Wat or Macchu Pichu and it’s a perfect spot for cycling in between towering and breath-taking Buddhist temples, pagodas and stupas. It is truly the perfect way to round off a jaw-dropping trip that will leave you regaling stories to your friends and family for years to come.
