  1. Day 1Arrival in Nelson airport & afternoon ride

    Kia Ora and welcome to New-Zealand!
    The team will be offering an airport pick-up today from 8am til noon. You can then take your time to check-in into your accommodation and set up the bikes to get ready for the first ride! You'll head north today for a warm-up ride in Motueka, a small township located at the Abel Tasman National Park, to ride the legendary Rameka track down to the "hippiest" spot on the south island: Takaka. After driving back to Nelson you can enjoy a free evening in the sunniest city in New-Zealand.

  2. Day 2Nydia track

    After having a hearty breakfast you will head to Opouri Pass to start your ride on the scenic Nydia track. Located on the shores of Pelorus Sounds, the Nydia track is not to be missed with lush rainforest, native ferns and a chilled out coastal vibe will make your day!

  3. Day 3Old Ghost Road overnight trip

     Wake up on beautiful Nydia Bay. After breakfast with a view, you will have a boat transfer to take you back to Havelock. Then, after 3 hours’ drive you will reach Lyell to ride the first half of the famous Old Ghost Road and spend the night in a remote mountain hut.

  4. Day 4Old Ghost Road to the beach

     In the northwest corner of the south island of New Zealand, a ghost has awakened. A long-forgotten gold miners’ road has been revived as a mountain biking and tramping trail – connecting the Old Dray road in the Lyell (Upper Buller Gorge) to the mighty Mokihinui River in the north. The 85km-long old ghost road traverses majestic native forest, open tussock tops, river flats and forgotten valleys. It’s time to ride the last half of the Old Ghost Road all the way to Seddonville.

    After a tough and unforgettable day on the bike there is nothing better than a good night by the Tasman Sea, in a nice lodge, after a pizza night!

  5. Day 5West Coast to Southern Alps

    Let’s hit the road on one of the most beautiful and untouched parts of New Zealand, you’ll be taken on a road trip as a day off!
    Down the west coast, visit the famous Pancake Rocks in Punakaiki then cut across Arthur’s Pass National Park to reach the Forest Lodge at Mount Cheeseman.

  6. Day 6Craigieburn

    Wake up in a picturesque alpine landscape and after a home-cooked breakfast, you will start the day in Craigieburn Forest Park for an awesome day of riding. Explore epic single tracks, rocky summits and native beech trees - all are waiting for you in the Majestic Southern Alps

  7. Day 7Castle Hill

    Early start for a sunrise mission above the clouds. Then your last ride from the lodge will take you to Castle Hill. The trip wouldn’t be complete without a meat pie stop in Shefield. Now you’ve taste the real New-Zealand southern flavor! ☺  It’s time to drive back to Christchurch.
