  • Where does the tour start and end?

    The tour starts and finishes at the harbour of Trogir, which is located in the Old Town of Trogir on a small peninsula. On day 1, Embarkation takes place between 2:00 and 2:30 pm. The first crossing will start at 3:00 pm.

    The harbour can be reached by taxi from Split Airport (SPU). It will cost approximately EUR20/way and travel time can be 15mins depending on traffic.



  • How long is the tour? How many days cycling?

    The tour is 8 days long with 6 days of biking. This is an easy-going tour and the most kilometers to be cycled in a day is 33.

  • What's the tour like? What sort of ability should I have?

    The bike routes require a basic level of fitness, which you should have acquired by occasional or daily cycling. The routes can reach an altitude of 328 ft. to 985 ft/100 to 300 meters. The daily routes of 9 to 22 mi./15 to 35 km cover hilly terrain and can be completed without time constraints. You will also come across some rather steep climbs, where walking your bike is of course permitted. The roads are mostly asphalted and there is little traffic outside of holiday periods. This tour is primarily a guided group tour. Upon consultation with your tour guides, the possibility to cycle on your own along recommended, suitable routes, may present itself. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned bicycle-tour. Helmets use is mandatory on all cycling tours. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own well-fitted helmet. Rental helmets are available on board in limited number (on request).

  • Can I bring my own bike?

    Yes, you can bring your own bike. Should you however wish to bring your own hybrid or MTB with you, please make sure to check the condition of your breaks, gears, and tires and don’t forget to bring along a puncture repair kit and the essential spare parts for your bike (e.g. brake pads and tubes). Your bike should be in prefect mechanical working order.

    Private e-bikes are not allowed on board of the boats. This decision has been made due to health and safety regulations. If you wish to ride an e-bike for the duration of your tour, please get in touch with us about the rental options.

    It is not recommended to bring private road bikes as the thin tires are not suitable for some of the road surfaces encountered on the tours.

  • Can children join the tour?

    It is the Tour Operator's belief that only children in good physical condition are at least 10 years old and have previous bicycle tour experience are able to master the bike-tours on their own strength.Please note that the minimum height for a rental bike is 1.30m (4'3") for hybrid bikes.

    Children up to age 16 receive a discount of 25 % on the basic tour price.


  • What languages are spoken during the tour?

    Due to its international audience all tours are conducted bilingually, in English and German.

  • Does it get noisy on board?

    Kindly note that the ship is your hotel as well as a machine which has to be maintaned and operated - day and night. A certain level of noise is therefore inevitable.
