The Mekong Delta is perfectly flat, which makes it incredibly accessible for young riders, and busy roads are avoided entirely instead using quiet, scenic village paths. Your guide appreciates how important it is to keep children engaged, so the days are balanced with fun boat trips, market visits, and interesting cultural stops (the coconut candy factory is always a hit!). They’re also very flexible—so if you have any specific passions do let us know so that we can make the trip extra special for you.

Whilst the land of the Mekong Delta region is flat, the narrow dirt paths through coconut plantations and the raised wooden platforms through flooded rice paddies will still provide enough varied terrain to keep any level of biker focused on the ride. Set that unique challenge with the breathtaking vistas the area provides, and you’ve got an experience that you’ll take with you forever!

Guests may have the opportunity to see some local animals and farm life along the route, such as water buffalo, cows, chickens, ducks,... Depending on the season and timing, you may also see various birds and other wildlife along the cycling route.

Wherever possible, you will cycle completely from the day's outset to the final destination with limited transfers. The core belief of the ground operator is that cycling is an act of empowerment for both the rider and the community and they strive to provide the most
meaningful and immersive cycling experience for guests. However, where needed, you will occasionally use comfortable and modern 16-seater minivans to transport guests safely to either the beginning or end of the day's route.  Riders who wish to take a break from the bicycle after the designated lunch stop will have the opportunity to be transported in the support vehicle to the final destination for the day.

The riding is recommended for children 6+ years old, depending on their cycling ability and experience. For younger children, child trailers/tagalongs are available upon request.

As this is a private tour, there is a minimum group size of 3 participants.
