  1. Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

    This tour will start in Kathmandu where you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your hotel. There the group will have a trip briefing and bike fitting, followed by a welcome dinner.

  2. Day 2Kathmandu – Daman

    A transfer in the morning takes the group to the start of the ride at Humane Banjyang, from there you will ride to the rim of Kulekhani Dam Site. The trip continues along the Tribhuvan Highway up to the highest point of the day, 2,320m (7,610ft), at the village of Daman.  Here you'll have a  panoramic view of the Himalayas, with Everest in the east on a clear day.

  3. Day 3Daman – Hetauda

    This morning starts with a hike up an easy trail to a panoramic view of the valley from an old Tibetan monastery. After some photos, head back to the hotel for lunch.

    In the afternoon, riding will be easy as you descend through pine forests and catch sight of Nepal's national flower, rhododendrons. You'll be riding through back roads to Hetauda, in the Terai, the lowland area of Nepal. The roads will get busier as you approach the city surrounded by hills and at the confluence of three rivers.

  4. Day 4Hetauda – Chitwan

    A drive to Lothar bridge starts off today's off-road riding on a jeep track through a shady forest following the Rapti River. You'll cycle to the quaint village of Sauraha. Most of your ride will be off-road on ox-cart trails and crossing numerous rivers before arriving at a relaxing resort on the edge of Chitwan National Park.

  5. Day 5Chitwan Rest Day

    Today you'll spend the day at Chitwan National Park, a 932 sq km of forests, water marshes and rippling grasslands that is home to the endangered one-horned Indian rhino, tigers, leopards and rare Gangetic dolphins. The bikes will be left behind as they aren't allowed inside the park, instead you'll explore the reserve from water level on a canoe safari.

  6. Day 6Chitwan – Lumbini

    A full day of activities. It starts with cycling to the Tikauli forest where you will be surrounded by gorgeous flora. The landscape shifts to farms and villages as you lave the forest behind and continue to the paved Mehendra Highway. 

    Take a break for lunch before transferring Lumbini, the birthplace of the Lord Buddha in 623 BC. The exact spot where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama, who as the Buddha Gautama founded the Buddhist tradition is marked by a pillar erected by Emperor Asoka in 249 BC. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, there are numerous temples and the Puskarini, or Holy Pond, where the Buddha's mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth.

  7. Day 7Lumbini – Tansen

    This morning's ride takes you through rural Nepal to give you a glimpse of village life in the Terai lowlands. Cycle on quiet country roads until the path meets the Mahendra Highway where the group will have lunch at Butwal.

    Afterwards, load the bikes for the short winding drive up to the hill station town of Tansen. This old Newari city is known for its traditional architecture, sweeping views of the Himalayas and cool temperatures.

  8. Day 8Tansen – Pokhara

    Today the ride heads out right from the hotel through the old alleyways of Tansen, followed by an exhilarating descent on a windy road that sweeps down to the Siddartha Highway.  Here the road widens where the twists and turns continue to the town of Ramdi. The road rises, and there's a gentle climb up to Galyang where you'll have lunch.

    Afterwards, get in the vehicles for a 2-hour drive to Pokhara. Spread along the edge of Phewa Lake, this picturesque town is the starting point for treks in the Annapurna region. If the clouds haven't moved in, there will be stunning views of Machhapuchhare’s peak at 6,997 m (22,956 ft) and the whole Annapurna range.

  9. Day 9Pokhara – Begnas Lake – Pokhara

    Pokhara is also known as the “city of seven lakes”, and today you drive to one of them, Begnas Tal, for a hike and a bike ride. From the shores of the lake, set out on foot for a two-hour trek. Once you've ascended, follow a ridge line with the stunning white peaks of the Annapurna range providing an inspiring backdrop.

    In Majdana, go up with the bikes and ride downhill on a dirt track to the Vijayaypur River. You'll then hit pavement and follow the road through to Pokhara old town and directly back to the hotel.

  10. Day 10Pokhara – Kathmandu

    This morning, you'll depart the serenity of Pokhara to return to the bustle of Kathmandu. Flights are frequently delayed, so the group will be booked on a morning flight to allow some cushion in case of the unexpected. Keep your cameras with you for the 30-minute flight as you'll have unimpeded views of the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas.

    Back in Kathmandu, you have the afternoon free to do some shopping or see more of the many fascinating sights. Meet up in the evening for a farewell dinner.
