Highlights include visits to some of Provence’s most acclaimed wine-making towns — Vacqueyras, Gigondas, Beaumes de Venise — stops in several of France’s “most beautiful villages — Séguret, Gordes, Roussillon — and options to climb legendary Mont Ventoux, or snake through the Gorges de la Nesque. In between, you’ll lodge in timeless villages and enjoy local cuisine.

One needs a fairly good fitness level to fully enjoy this extraordinary trip: Although challenging Ventoux can be skipped, some sections involve some climbing. This trip starts any Sunday from April through October. It can be organized on any other day of the week, except for Saturdays, for an extra fee of 80 euros per person.

This tour can only be done by cyclists who can comfortably cover 45 to 50 miles (70-80km) per day with some climbs! Note, however, that the toughest of all (Ventoux!) is optional — an alternative route is possible via the scenic Gorges de la Nesque. This tour is organized on a self-guided basis meaning that your package includes accommodations, daily breakfast, detailed itinerary, and most importantly luggage transfers, allowing you to have total freedom.

This is Option A and the default version of the tour where you will stay in comfortable accommodations with ratings of 2-3 stars. If you prefer more premium accommodations, you can upgrade to Option A+ for an additional fee, click below to have a look. Both tours go through the same route and have the same itineraries.
