The tour is 10 days long with 8 days of cycling.
What's the tour like?
The trip is classified as having a difficulty of medium/high, covering an average of 62 km (38 mi) per day. The Carretera Austral, at this point, consists of approximately 150 km (93 mi) gravel and 409 km (254 mi) of tarmac. Previous experience in recreational or professional cycling sports is essential to get the most out of this trip as is being in good physical condition with training prior to the trip.
If I bring my own bike, can you transport the case to the end of the tour?
Yes, that is not a problem. The operator will move your box to the end of the tour on the first day so it is waiting for you at the end of the tour.
Can you tell me about the camping aspect of the tour? What's included?
Mattresses, tents and all camping gear is supplied – everything except the sleeping bag, but there are potentially some available if you don’t want to bring your own.

The team will set up the tents and all the camping gear. Each tent is shared between 2 people (the tents are 3-person tents).

Dinners are included at the campsites. The team prepares them on camping nights because there is no restaurant nearby.
Is insurance included?
Yes, accident insurance for adventure tourism activities is included. However, it's still recommended to get your own travel insurance for the duration of the trip.

It was a challenge rather than a relaxing holiday (as one would expect from cycling through Patagonia). However, I am very glad I did it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tough challenge, offset by magnificent scenery.
