The tour is family-friendly with options for toddlers, kids and, of course, adults. The tour not only offers bikes and where to go but also has the option of transfers to and from Ayers Rock Resort. You'll have 3 hours to complete the base ride, this allows plenty of time to ride the 15km around Uluru with plenty of time to stop and explore before hopping back on the bus.

The ride can be done very quickly, or nice and leisurely.  The tour operator recommends taking your time to ensure you get the full experience. They allow 3 hours, but most people finish in 2 -2.5 hours. You do not need to be an experienced cyclist or fitness fanatic to enjoy the experience.  The ride is on a packed earth path and is easily navigated. Morning rides are possible only from March to April, whilst both morning and afternoon rides are possible in the cooler months from May to August.

The optional transfer via Uluru Hop On Hop Off pick up and drop off, goes from 5 locations within Ayers Rock Resort: Desert Gardens Hotel, Town Square, Sails in the Desert Resort, Ayers Rock Campground (bus stop on the ring road) & Outback Pioneer Hotel & Lodge. Your hotel reception will be able to point you in the right direction of the bus stop.

Ensure you bring plenty of water, sunscreen, appropriate clothing for bicycle riding, and most importantly... your camera! Bookings are highly recommended, especially in school holiday periods.
