    The tour starts at El Tepual airport (PMC) in Puerto Montt city.

    The tour ends with a transfer to Balmaceda Airport (BBA) in Coyhaique.

    This trip is of medium-high difficulty, covering 150 km of gravel and 450 km of pavement.

    Experience in recreational or sport cycling is desirable, and participants should be in good physical condition with adequate training on slopes and long-distance endurance.


  • If I bring my own bike, can you transport the case to the end of the tour?

    Yes, that is not a problem. The operator will move your box to the end of the tour on the first day so it is waiting for you at the end of the tour.

  • What are the meals like?

    Nutrition is an important part of the tour and the following meals can be expected.

    Breakfast: In accommodations

    Snack and Lunches: Prepared on the road by the guides or will be held in local restaurants when possible. Snacks are a combination of nuts, energy bars, fruits, Chilean sweets, chocolate, sandwiches, burritos, salads, juice, tea, coffee, mate and water

    Dinner: prepared in accommodations or in local restaurants

    There will also be one authentic gastronomic experience with local pioneers who will prepare lamb in a sword, the Patagonian BBQ

    Vegetarian/Vegan and other special meal requirements are possible with advance notice

  • Who will be our guide?

    There will be knowledgeable guides with you during the tour.

    Tour Leader: A cycling tour guide who is responsible for the expedition, certified in first aid, knowledgeable in environmental interpretation and bicycle touring, and fluent in both English and Spanish.

    Driver: Responsible for vehicle support, technical assistance with the spare bike, food logistics, and emergency evacuations.

    Assistant Guide: A cycling tour guide responsible for bicycle mechanics and monitoring the tour group's cycling equipment, with advanced knowledge in mechanics and bicycle touring recommendations (when <7 pax)
