Itinerary Details

  1. Day 1Arrive in Dobbiaco/Villabassa

    Arrive at your hotel in Val Pusteria, surrounded by the peaks of the Dolomites.  Upon arrival at your first hotel, you will receive your bikes and travel documents. On some occasions, you may be asked to collect the bikes at the local bike office.  A QR code will be provided for a video which will provide you with further information about the trip. Should you need any further assistance, you can contact the local partner or visit their office in Dobbiaco until 18:00.

  2. Day 2Dobbiaco/Villabassa to Cortina d'Ampezzo

    Your ride starts along the old Dolomites narrow-gauge railway, rolling past Lake Dobbiaco and the war cemetery. Take in stunning mountain views, with glimpses of the Tre Cime, before crossing from South Tyrol into Veneto and finishing in the Olympic village of Cortina d’Ampezzo.

  3. Day 3Cortina d'Ampezzo to Belluno

    Continue along the old railway track, with sweeping views of the Sorapis range on one side and the Cinque Torri (Five Towers) on the other. Pause for lunch in Pieve di Cadore, the birthplace of Titian, before riding on through the valley of the ice-cream makers to Belluno.

  4. Day 4Belluno to Feltre

    Today you leave Belluno, the provincial capital, and cycle across the foothills, passing through a string of small villages along tree-lined avenues to Feltre. This historic hilltop town was completely rebuilt in the 16th century after being destroyed in 1510 for its allegiance to Venice.

  5. Day 5Feltre to Bassano del Grappa

    Descend into the Brenta Valley and across the plains to Bassano del Grappa, named after nearby Monte Grappa. Here you can visit the Poli Grappa Museum, explore the Museo Civico, and cross the famous wooden Ponte Vecchio, dedicated to the Alpini troops.
