UK Cycling Holiday: E-Bike the Lake District

I had the pleasure of cycling through the Lakes District [...] and having completed it, there is one thing I can say for sure, there is no better way to visit and see the Lakes than via bike.

Having the e-bikes made it easy for me (a cycling novice) to keep up with my more experienced travel companion. The cycle routes were balanced with easy cycling and more challenging aspects (I will forever view Kirkstone Pass with trepidation ahaha) where you received another stunning view as a reward. Phil’s thorough and detailed knowledge of the Lakes put into the tour really showed off the best of the Lakes from quaint towns, farm side lanes, to vibrant railroad paths.

Truely a memorable experience I will remember for years to come.

We did the [...] tour in June 2025 and had an amazing time. The scenery is fantastic, even on rainy days, and we had great accommodation. The e-bikes and equipment were of a very high standard, but most importantly the service we got from Phil was exceptional, he really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that we had a great time. If I come back to the UK and do another trip, I will phone Phil and see what other trips he could put together for us to ride the beautiful lake district. Excellent service from Phil. He arrived early, sent routes, spent time explaining how the bikes work, guided us on where to go, how to stay safe and more.
