Maah Daah Hey Singletrack

Duration
5 days
From
$1,570 USD

Mountain bike North Dakota on the incredible 140-mile long Maah Daah Hey Trail (MDH) over 5 days exploring the wild Dakota Badlands. While North Dakota might immediately conjure up images of brutal whiteouts and bitter cold, summers here are perfectly comfortable. With average temperatures in the upper 70s, the Maah Daah Hey Trail (140-miles west of Bismarck, the state capital) consistently provides a powerfully enjoyable experience. “It was here,” Teddy Roosevelt said, in 1903, “that the romance of my life began.” Located adjacent to the National Park named in Roosevelt’s honor, the 140-mile long Maah Daah Hey Trail, or MDH is one of the lengthiest stretches of continuous trail in America.

This is my fifth trip with [the tour operator]. Once again the trip was a blast. Well organised and guides Merrick, Troy and Katy were amazing. Excellent food as always. Beautiful tour through the North Dakota badlands.

We had a great adventure in the North Dakota Badlands with our guides from [the tour operator]. Their trail knowledge and bike mechanic skills were spot on. The meals they prepared were excellent and the guides were fun.

Very difficult. Long steep hills and many washed out trails. I consider myself an intermediate MTB but this trail was intense and stressful. Thanks to Ryan P and Merrick for their assistance and support. Both gave me suggestions on selecting trips in the future. Fabulous meals and great company by all. I was concern about enough food and water but all needs were met. I look forward to travelling with [the tour operator] again. Ryan and Merrick are the best!
