    The tour starts in Cape Town, with the tour leader meeting you at the airport and transferring you to the hotel to settle in.

    Fly into Cape Town International Airport (CPT).

    The tour ends in Port Elizabeth. Fly out of Port Elizabeth International Airport (PLZ). A transfer at the end of the tour to the Port Elizabeth airport is included in the price of the tour.

  • What's the tour like?

    This tour offers mainly easy rides throughout the trip as well as some moderate terrain for those who are a bit fitter and want some extra mileage. It is ideal for casual or novice cyclists and is definitely suitable for enthusiastic cyclists.

    The rides are mainly on tar roads, but one or two rides are on dirt roads. Most days the rides have extra sections available for those feeling like they want do more. The tour operator has chosen quiet scenic roads on the whole, so that the cycling is relaxed and you can enjoy soaking up the scenery.

  • Do I need to be protected for malaria?

    There is no malaria along the Garden Route, or in the Western and Eastern Cape (only near Kruger which is not on this itinerary).
