Prepare yourself for an immersive journey through the rich history and natural wonders of Japan during this 7-day cycling expedition across the enchanting Kansai region. Begin your adventure by exploring the must-see sights of Kyoto, where the echoes of bygone eras linger in the air. Then, embark on a captivating circuit that unfolds before you, revealing pristine landscapes, timeless villages, soothing onsens (hot springs), awe-inspiring temples, serene shrines, meticulously tended tea plantations, and a myriad of delectable culinary delights. These meticulously chosen cycling routes are among the finest in all of Japan, catering to both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers to this remarkable country.

Our odyssey commences in the historical heart of Kyoto, where we pedal through time, discovering the city's splendid historical legacy and some of Japan's most precious cultural treasures. In the days that follow, our cycling path takes us on a delightful journey through undulating terrain, where lush forests and verdant rice fields are crisscrossed by meandering mountain streams. Along the way, traditional villages, fertile farms, sacred Shinto shrines, and legendary temples grace our route. We'll skirt the shores of the magnificent Lake Biwa, Japan's largest lake, before embarking on a picturesque course that leads to Nara, a charming city affectionately known as "mini Kyoto." En route, we'll explore the Edo-era canals of Omihachiman and traverse the breathtaking Wazuka region, a rural gem where tea fields have been meticulously sculpted into the rolling hillsides over centuries. Our sojourn in Nara will span two nights, during which we'll delve into its rich heritage sites and partake in an enthralling sushi-making class. On the final day of our expedition, we'll trace the tranquil Uji River's path back to Kyoto, concluding our remarkable journey.

This is the epitome of an authentic Japanese experience, a harmonious blend of tradition, nature, and culture, meticulously curated for your enjoyment.
