Starting in Bangkok and after taking a short transfer north-west up to Kanchanaburi, you will ride west on a loop that takes you through some of the finest landscapes, experiencing lesser-known waterfalls and caves, adding to the mystical ambience. In contrast to the sublime natural beauty and present-day peace of the province, you will be moved by the historic monuments, museums and landmarks that remember the trials and horrors experienced here by many during WWII. Included in the tour are visits to the famous Bridge over the River Kwai and an epic ride up to the notorious Hellfire pass and Death Railway.
The biking itself is wonderful, providing ample opportunities to push your limits through long distances and hilly terrain. As you ride, you'll experience diverse landscapes from rural farmlands and calm riverscapes through to spectacular climbs and descents with magnificent vistas. Other highlights include visiting the charming Thai floating markets, having fun with bamboo rafting, kayaking and lake swimming and visiting Erawan National Park and Sri Nakarin Dam.
This remarkable tour offers fulfilling and exceptional riding through a diverse and rich region of Thailand's central west. Discover a land of cultural heritage and natural splendor during a road-biking exploration not to be missed.
