Beaches, rice paddies, mountain air, glistening water, historic sights, World Heritage temples and to top it off adoring locals, who encourage you every wheel of the way. This is just the beginning of what this glorious route from Vietnam to Cambodia has to offer and experiencing it atop a bike is truly the best way to do it.

Having delved into Saigon’s deep history with your local and knowledgeable guides, take on flat roads out of the bustling city and spin between sand dunes and pine forests before hitting the beaches of Phan Thiet.

While this is a long distance tour – covering more than a whopping 1,000km – you'll keep to mostly flat roads and that makes it brilliant for soaking up the atmosphere that both these mesmerizing Southeast Asian countries offer.

Whether it’s the fascinating history on display at Vietnam’s Cu Chi Tunnels, the seemingly endless complex of temples at Cambodia’s Angkor Wat or even just the bursting nature from the numerous rice paddies and banana plantations, there is so much to take in.

There is a challenging uphill ride on day three as you test your limits to reach Dalat. However, the views, cool mountain air and this French colonial era city make it worth the sweat. If it does prove too challenging the support vehicles can transfer you to the top.

The best part of going up is that you must come down and following the stop in Dalat there are just flat roads ahead for the rest of the tour. To help you relax and recuperate, you'll be staying at some luxurious hotels, while also taking rest days such as in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh.

Throughout the ride you will see many breathtaking backdrops like the visit to Battambang, known as the rice bowl of Cambodia due to its multitude of paddies, but the best is saved for last. Angkor Wat is rightly known as the seventh wonder of the world and this jaw dropping temple will leave you speechless. You'll be fortunate enough to ride around the temple complex and it marks a perfect point to wrap up what is the adventure of a lifetime.
