1. Day 1Adventure begins in the Sicilian countryside: Welcome briefing and bike fitting

   Begin your adventure at Feudo Bauly, a restored 14th-century estate and former noble residence, now a charming 4-star retreat offering comfort, history, and Sicilian authenticity.
   
   Around 6pm, say ciao to your tour leader and fellow travelers, when we gather as a group to get to know each other, have the bike fitting, and learn more about the adventures ahead. Your tour leader then ensures a big welcome over a group dinner.

2. Day 2Ride south to the hilltop Baroque town of Ragusa Ibla; cycle scenic roads to Modica

   The explorations start with a ride through the beautiful lower valleys of the Iblean Mountains, passing olive plantations and dry-stone walls that characterise this area. You will then climb into the highlands to the delightful town of Ragusa Ibla, built over three hills separated by a deep valley, and home to beautiful Baroque churches and buildings. After visiting Ragusa, you will cycle for another 14km (8.7mi) to the town of Modica, another gem of the Sicilian Baroque, nestled at the bottom of a deep gorge. Overnight in Modica.

3. Day 3Cycle to the Architectural Delight of Scicli and Your Agriturismo

   Leave Modica behind and ride along a scenic ravine that slopes gently downhill to Scicli, another stunning example of Sicilian Baroque architecture and a filming location for the popular Inspector Montalbano TV series.
   
   Continue south until you reach the Mediterranean coast, where you can stop for lunch and enjoy a swim. Back on your bike, follow the shoreline to the San Lorenzo area, where you’ll settle into your charming agriturismo, a converted farmhouse.

4. Day 4Gentle circular route through vineyards, along the coast and back to Marzamemi

   Enjoy a loop ride through vineyards and past greenhouses where the renowned Pomodoro di Pachino cherry tomatoes are grown. If you’re lucky, you may spot flamingos, herons and other migratory birds in the marshes along the way.
   
   Follow the coastline to Portopalo di Capo Passero, the southernmost village in Sicily, even further south than Tunis. Stop for a coffee and take the opportunity to swim where the Mediterranean and Ionian seas meet.
   
   Continue to Marzamemi, a picturesque fishing village with Arab origins, where you’ll stop for lunch. Afterward, return to your agriturismo for a second night.

5. Day 5Coastal Ride to Vendicari Nature Reserve & Baroque Noto

   Take a short ride to the beautiful Vendicari Nature Reserve, a protected stretch of marshy coastline that provides an important habitat for migratory birds and local flora and fauna. Enjoy a short walk to the sandy beaches, where you can take a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean Sea.
   
   Leave the reserve behind and head north to Noto, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore this beautifully planned town, known for its Late Sicilian Baroque architecture and warm, honey-coloured stone buildings.
   
   While in Noto, don’t miss the chance to try delicious cannoli alla ricotta and traditional almond pastries. Spend the night in Noto.

6. Day 6Circular ride to Cavagrande National Reserve and the deep Cassibile Canyon

   Start your day with a challenging but rewarding 4mi (6km) climb to San Corrado di Fuori, where you can stop for a well-deserved coffee. Continue cycling to Noto Antica, the original settlement of Noto, which was destroyed by the 1693 earthquake.
   
   Take on another ascent to the viewpoint of Cavagrande del Cassibile (1,657ft/505m), one of the deepest canyons in Europe. Stop for lunch and take in sweeping views of the gorge and the Cassibile River far below.
   
   In the afternoon, enjoy a spectacular descent with sweeping hairpin bends towards the coast, before returning to Noto for a second night in this beautiful city.

7. Day 7Final coastal ride to Syracuse; free time to discover the historic town

   Enjoy a gentle ride to Avola, where you can stop for an espresso or cappuccino before continuing along the coast to Syracuse. Pass beautiful beaches and take a break for a refreshing swim in the sea along the way.
   
   Arrive in Syracuse, which Cicero described as “the greatest Greek city and the most beautiful of them all.” Your tour leader will give you a short orientation tour of Ortigia, the island where the city was founded.
   
   Spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace, browsing the shops or visiting the archaeological park and its spectacular hillside Greek theatre. Spend the night in Syracuse.
