This was the inaugural ride for this trip. Absolutely amazing experience all around. The route was diverse, traversing Italy east to west on gravel roads, single track trails, farm lanes, quiet empty country roads and occasionally light traffic tarmac. Our guide and support were excellent. It was just myself and my daughter. Each day offered a uniquely different sensory experience of Marche, Umbria and Tuscany. The accommodations were comfortable and unique as well. The ride itself was challenging for sure. We opted for e-bikes which made for a more reasonable approach to the over 9,000m of climbing that we did. If you are in superb shape and take a regular mountain bike you will have your work cut out for you. We were tired but very happy at the end of each day.
