This will be the first riding day! Prepare yourself to explore a region marked by years of history. Leave the hotel and ride along the dense pine forest until Vila Real de Santo António. Then, you will cycle just across the natural border with Spain until Castro Marim.
From its medieval castle, set in the rolling green landscape overlooking the river Guadiana and not far away from the Atlantic Ocean, you will enjoy panoramic views over the river, the marshland reserve, the hills, the salt flats, and over the surrounding gorgeous beaches. Enjoy the ride back to Praia Verde, crossing some of the warm waters of the Portuguese coast.
