  • Where does the tour start and end?

The tour starts and ends at the tour operator's office in central Queenstown. You will be taken from there to the start of each day's ride and either bike back or be transferred back to Queenstown at the end of the day, depending on the route planned.

Fly in/out of Queenstown Airport (ZQN).

  • How long is the tour?

The tour runs for 3 days. Each day you will go on a different 'day' ride.

  • What's the tour like?

On this ultimate ride, you will see the very best of what the Queenstown Trail has to offer – all while being based in the heart of Queenstown (at your own choice of accommodation). Ride Arrowtown to Queenstown (35km), Jacks Point to Queenstown (25km) and finish with a Bike The Wineries day (25km), taking you out to the Gibbston Valley, home to many famous Central Otago wineries.

  • Where in Queenstown can I book accommodations?

There are ample options in terms of Queesntown accommodation. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

    Sofitel

    St Moritz
    https://www.stmoritz.co.nz/

    Queenstown Park Hotel

  • Can I do this tour with an infant?

Yes, child trailers are available and can be attached to the back of the bike. The child would be secured with a seat belt in an upright position and must be able to hold their head upright independently while wearing a helmet. We do not provide child seats. There is reduced pricing for infants in trailers.

Did the self guided tour. They picked up our wine, gave us great bikes and made sure we were familiar and comfortable with the trail. Great experience

[The tour operator] provided my wife and I two excellent bikes, well tuned, and at a good price. They were friendly and kind, and had a great "can do" way of doing things.
