Itinerary Details

  1. Day 1Arrowtown to Queenstown

Check in to the shop at 8:50am for a prompt 9:00am departure.

On your first day, you'll go on a 25-minute shuttle ride from the shop in Queenstown to Arrowtown, one of New Zealand's most picturesque towns. Once a historic settlement during the Gold Rush Era, Arrowtown offers the perfect opportunity to explore and grab a coffee to kickstart your day. After fitting you to your bike or E-bike and providing trail tips and a map, you'll set off on this independent adventure ride.

The route begins by tracing the willow-lined banks of the Arrow River toward the Morven Ferry, where you'll cross the river via several stunning bridges. Following this, you'll join the Twin Rivers Trail, which runs alongside the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers, leading you to the shores of Lake Whakatipu. The final stretch of the ride is a gentle, scenic trail along the lake's edge, culminating at Queenstown Bay, where you can return your bike.

Check in to the shop at 9:20am for a prompt 9:30am departure.

On the third and final day of riding, you can relax and treat yourself after the past few days of adventure. The day begins with a shuttle from Queenstown to Arrowtown. From there, you'll embark on the tranquil Arrow River Bridges Trail, which leads to the iconic Kawarau Suspension Bridge, known for its world-famous Bungy jump, and serves as the entrance to the Gibbston Wine Valley.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy as you leisurely bike along the splendid Gibbston River Trail, where you can visit as many wineries as you like. The provided winery map is a valuable resource to help you make the most of your time in the valley. After three days of riding, we believe you'll have earned a glass or two of pinot noir!

You'll be picked up at 4:30 pm from your chosen location in the Gibbston Valley for the final shuttle back to Queenstown.
